Encore Enterprises is a 38 year old company whose mission is to keep the residents, young and mature, safe in local communities. We partner with local Police and Fire Departments as well as Sheriff’s offices to develop programs catered to their immediate concerns.
We currently have four offices. Corporate Headquarters is in South Hackensack, NewJersey, other offices include Pittsburgh (Greentree), Pennsylvania, Gahanna, Ohio and Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Each office is growing and in need of additional independent contractors.
What we are about
• We value our Independent Contractors - They play a valuable role in making our company successful.
• Product Knowledge - We provide initial field mentoring with one of our talented sales trainers.
• Our sales mentors are also available to assist and help you learn and develop throughout your career.
• Immediate Commissions - Our contractors are paid weekly.
• Renewal Territories – although we are always developing new territories, our contractors work in renewal territories about 80% of the time.
• We have a great product! - for 2013 company average in retention of renewal customers is 76%. You are paid the same commissions on new business and renewal business.
Our sales in a nutshell
• You are assigned a territory (town) and set appoint with the town contact
• At that meeting you will receive all the necessary paperwork from our contact for you to meet with the business owners.
• Our scripted presentation is approx 5-10 minutes long.
• We provide you with lots of materials to show the value of our past and present programs.
• It’s a One Call Close! Most of the time.
• About 70% of the customers will renew their advertisement. You are also responsible for about 30% new business in each community.
• You are traveling to the different communities so you must have a reliable car and be willing to stay overnight while working towns more than an hour and a half away from home.
• We prefer our contractors live with-in an hour radius from one of our four offices.
Financial Rewards
• Commissioned position – If you are a successful sales person you will be rewarded
• Up to 40% weekly in commissions. Successful contractor’s commissions range
from $800-$1500. Of course there’s always a few overachieving contractors that routinely receive over $1500 commissions. Our top performer for 2011, 2012 and 2013 generated an average of $2000 a week commission for a total well over $100,000 for the year. Unfortunately we have a few underachieving ones too.
